It is estimated that 30% of the American population is infected with herpes. Yet, because the social stigma that accompanies this STD is so extreme, many choose to either give up sexually or hide their condition from others. THERE IS LIFE AFTER DIAGNOSIS! Believe it or not. With education and knowledge comes power. By finding each other and supporting each other we can overcome the fear and shame that has been cast upon us WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION OR EVEN OUR KNOWLEDGE. But we can change all that, by being open and honest and upfront. Let's take the time to help and support each other, educate our public and share with them not only how to be safe, but that Herpes is just an annoying skin condition no more than a cold sore on a persons face.
